Zana is currently the UK Country Manager of Hardware Operations at Google in London with 8 years of professional experience in Consulting, Finance and Information Technology. She has been with Google for over 4 years in 2 different roles (previously UK Sales Operations Manager for Advertising business) and had previously worked at McKinsey in Budapest and Credit Suisse in New York City. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College, USA where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was born in Sarajevo and graduated from Prva Gimnazija in 2004.

In her talk she will discuss the evolution of Hardware at Google as it pertains to Google's seamless integration of software and hardware in the Premium phones and the Smart Home Categories. Zana will take us though Google's overall mission, how the company began thinking about Hardware and why its such a crucial element of its overall strategy going forward. She will speak about hardware's inception and its strategic direction and will cover the Google Assistant, some of the use cases and how it links to other services and products.
She will then open the discussion into a Q&A session.
