Why Bosnian language?

The best way to quickly learn a new language is by speaking it. In Bosnia and Herzegovina we cultivate the tradition of pleasant conversation while drinking Bosnian coffee. Speaking countries are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo, with average of approximately 3 million speakers. When you learn Bosnian language, you will be able to have a pleasant conversation with people in the western Balkans with a cup of coffee. :)

About course:

The Bosnian language course for beginners is based on learning and acquiring the basics of the Bosnian language, such as reading, writing, listening and speaking. During the course, participants will have the opportunity to master basic spelling and grammar rules, to form sentences, and short and simple texts, and to achieve elementary communication in Bosnian. Classes are designed to help you feel comfortable while speaking, writing and listening to Bosnian in a real environment. 

The Bosnian language course is organized according to the rules of an internationally recognized standard for language learning, i.e. Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The course involves learning with a lecturer who uses the proven Berlitz method and encourages your natural speaking skills, so that you can speak Bosnian from day one.

The Bosnian language course for beginners is intended for all those who want to learn this language, and for those who have recognized the need of Bosnian in everyday life, with little or no prior knowledge. The course starts from the very basics and slowly crosses the didactic units, which primarily help students to begin to speak this language, and to understand it at the elementary level. 

Expectations after completing the course:

In accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the aim of this course is for the student to master the basics of Bosnian for level A1.1, where the student masters 4 key language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. At A1.1 level, the student understands and uses everyday phrases, independently forming sentences and phrases. The student is able to compose a short and simple text, as well as to read and understand the same type of text. The student is able to communicate at the elementary level, and knows basic grammar and spelling rules. The primary goal is to communicate in Bosnian from the first day of class. The aim of this course is also to convey enthusiasm that will encourage participants to continue learning Bosnian language.

Hours and days of the course:

• Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:30

Course price: 299.00 KM (possibility of payment in two installments). The minimum number of participants to start the course is 8. If we do not have a sufficient number of applications, the course will not start on the specified date.
